Might find out Friday if I'm lucky and it actually ships today, probably get it on Monday.

As long as the key is legit, even if its standard edition no big deal for that price. the only thing I'm worried about is if it might be a bootleg. But if that's the case the vendor should take it back, opened package or not.

The vendor itself is legit, I got the GW Trilogy there at 33% off list price.

These CE's are turning up at too many places for it not to be somewhat legitimate. Perhaps stripped down without the pet, but I think it is a legit product.

Has anyone seen discussion on any other forums about this?

I bought my CEs years ago(when released). the one and only reason i'd swoop in and buy any now would be purely for profit. The Faction/NF CEs can be had easily. Find a GW Prophecies CE and you might make yourself some cash. it's late in the game though...

and if those are stripped down w/o pet...it's not a CE. at least not a CE key.

after digging a bit, it looks like I crap-canned my day of the tengu mask, never to be returned. oh well. storage space seemed more important to me at the time I suppose.

True, only time will tell though.

But it doesn't seem too good to be true. A few years ago Gamestop had a sale on NF CE for $30. Went in and got it no problems. Of course, we're comparing Gamestop with an online based store here, but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt.

Tried placing an order for Factions CE this morning, Paypal still has it pending, but when I tried signing in again to GoGamer the account I made doesn't exist anymore. Too good to be true priced copies are no longer listed now.

I sent in an email asking about my order since it's pending with PayPal but the GoGamer account I tried registering still doesn't exist.

The site says if there are any price errors due to typos etc, they have the right to cancel or refuse such orders and if your card etc was charged, it will be refunded.

Meh, $16 or $30 bucks....people just bought them after hearing about it solely for either the dance emotes or to pwn off Mini Kuunavang.

Personally it's not a loss for me whether I get it or the order gets cancelled. I just bought it for the minipet. The game key would be given to my friend so he could FINALLY get Factions.

@ Forgewhelp: Yeah, it's still in "Processing" mode for me too. I ordered as soon as I saw OP's post at like 8:30am EST this morning. But of course, anything can happen, even if "Shipped" appears. I'll celebrate once and if I get the item in my hands, confirm it's legit once the key is added and the /special command works and I see Mini Kuunavang in Inventory slot and traded to my account.

@ Flubber: I'd look at the CC statement for confirmation if anything, not out of a spasm of joy and giggles. When I got NF CE for $30 at Gamestop, the high of getting a CE dirt cheap went away really fast once I realized a Mini Varesh fetched pennies in the GW market compared to a Mini Kuunavang. Plus to me, NF is not appealing to me. But it was cool seeing how the devs etc came up with the concept on the "Making of.." DVD.

Got a reply from Gogamer customer service. They basically said the "I" means Import from the UK or Australia. Said those types of releases tend to come in a small dvd case, but I didn't get the feeling that he knew for sure about the CE but that he was speaking in general. I replied to ask for more clarification on what comes in the box. But that may explain how they suddenly showed up as available, they found a source for UK import versions, which several here have already mentioned tend to be cheaper than the inflated US CE prices.

I assume the import versions won't work on accounts with US-based keys then eh?

I am however a bit worried about it being a price mistake since they changed the price so quickly after I sent the email questioning it.
